Keep your water working
Broken pumps can malfunction due to age, maintenance needs or freezing in winter weather. In the summer, a drought can cause your well to run dry. You may turn on the faucet and nothing comes out, or you may experience a pump that fails and sprays water everywhere. When you are raising livestock on your property or are irrigating tender plants, broken wells mean a lack of water that can become a serious emergency very quickly. Not having water service to your residence means you will not be able to have drinking water, shower, wash dishes or do laundry.
